June 13, 7 pm
Andy just called and Asher's breathing is stabalized. The doctors do not know what has caused this difficulty but Andy did want to thank you for praying. Please continue. His heart rate had jumped up but has stabalized again. Breathing, oxygen levels and other vitals have stabalized. He still has a fever but not as high as earlier today. It has been a difficult day for the family but they feel your prayers.
He was resting comfortably when Andy and Gloria left his room earlier.

Andy,
Just wanted to let you & Gloria know how much Asher has been on my mind and in my prayers. It seems every time my mind has a moment to rest, it dwells on Asher. I also want you to know that many fellow brothers in Christ at IPC are praying consistently for him. Including Heather's youth group, the diaconate, and the session. Jody Robinson, the manager of 91.9 Christian Radio said he would ask his audience to pray for Asher as well.
Terry, Ron, and Art are attending the PCA conference in Chattanooga tomorrow. I gave Ron Parrish your phone number; he will try to contact you sometime soon.
May God's peace be with you and your family.
We love you all so very much.
In Christ,
Larry and family

We are still praying & won't stop. Your updates are so helpful, so that we can pray more specifically. (You said 3 weeks ago today; what time of day? It's an odd thing, but from stories i've heard, it seems bodies sometimes have their own way of remembering trauma.) Praying God's love keeps surrounding all of you & His grace keeps sustaining you. We love you too.

Dear Mendonsa family,
You do not know me, nor I you, but the Lord has laid on my heart to pray for your son. Cherly Slack emailed us of your son's need the day after his accident.
I often include Asher in my bedtime prayers as I pray with each of my children. I also lead the children's ministry Sunday nights at the North River Vineyard Church and we have included Asher in our prayer book. Know that several kindergarten and first grade children have been praying for him, too.
We will continue to pray as long as necessary.
