The Asher Update

Just wanted to drop a note to let you know my wife and I will be praying. Thank God for his faithfulness. How do those without Christ even begin to deal with tragedy like this?

We are praying for you and your son. There are no words that can offer any comfort - just cling to the Lord. We know a little about what you are going through as we had close friends in a previous church who had a similar accident happen to their young son. We'll let them know about Asher so they can be praying for him and your family. That young man in quite a prayer warrior now!

Prayers.

Everyone in our family is praying for Asher, including our 2 and 4 year olds! They make it a habit to ask for prayers for Asher after they've said their "now I lay me..." prayer. We love you all, and will heed all requests. God be with you.

We don't know one another, but I am lifting you all up to the Lord Jesus--he knows you. Just like the men lowered the paraplegic to Jesus because he couldn't bring himself, so too are we taking you and your precious son to the Lord. May His grace come minute by minute and be sufficient to carry you through and may Asher be healed!
Remember that the Holy Spirit is interceding for you with groaning, because He knows the hurts and desires of your hearts before you do.
